ADD STUFF ABOUT AMY

For individuals, I help you tell your story and make sense of it in a safe and empathic space. I help you to create the life you want while learning to adapt to challenges more effectively. I teach intentional practices for gradual change, including mindfulness and nervous system regulation strategies. If you’re open to it I can serve to keep you accountable to creating gradual changes in your life. I am also trained in EMDR, which is an evidence-based treatment for treating trauma of various types and intensities so you can break free of past wounds and move forward.

For couples, I work to be an unbiased mediator between you and your partner. I provide comfort and reassurance that relationships are difficult, and nobody navigates them flawlessly. We can start from a place of patience and acceptance and find ways to forgive past harms and move forward. I teach intentional strategies for breaking old patterns and communicating from a greater place of love and collaboration. I utilize primarily Gottman Method.

In sex therapy, I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space to address potentially taboo topics that can be difficult to speak about. I can help to address struggles in sexual functioning and reduce anxiety while increasing presence and pleasure. In couples I help to address differences in desire in order to find a safe and satisfying middle ground where all parties feel seen and accepted. EMDR can also be utilized to address sexual trauma. I am queer, kink and polyamory friendly.
